How to Turn Video Links Into Text With the Videosays WeChat Account
If you collect short videos in WeChat, send the public link or full share text directly to the Videosays official account. The first link returns an 8-character binding code. Connect your Videosays account once, then keep sending links and use “status” to retrieve progress and results.
Steps
Follow “维构未来视频转文字”
Open the Videosays WeChat page and scan the QR code, or search for the exact account name in WeChat. The welcome reply includes the shortest workflow and available commands.
Copy a public video link or full share text
Copy a public link from Douyin, TikTok, YouTube, Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, Kuaishou, Instagram, X, or WeChat Channels. A plain link or full share text is more reliable than a platform-native share card.
Send the link to the official account
Paste and send it in the conversation. Connected users receive a task-creation confirmation. First-time users receive an 8-character binding code and the account-binding URL.
Sign in and enter the binding code once
Open the binding page within 15 minutes, register or sign in to Videosays, enter the code, and confirm the credit policy. The first link is submitted automatically after a successful connection.
Send “status” and download the result
Return to WeChat and send “status”. A completed task includes a private TXT download valid for 15 minutes and a task-detail link for any additional exports available to your account.
What the official account can do
It can create video-to-text tasks from public links or share text, report the latest task status, and provide a completed TXT download and task detail. Send “capabilities”, “tutorial”, “status”, or “unbind” to move directly to each workflow.
Links that may not work
Private, deleted, expired, login-only, or region-restricted videos may not be publicly accessible. Unclear speech, loud music, and overlapping voices can reduce transcript quality. Videosays does not provide source-video downloads.
Binding codes, credits, and task ownership
The 8-character code is single-use and expires after 15 minutes. Connecting assigns WeChat submissions and transcription-minute usage to your Videosays account. The first link is queued automatically after binding.
Disconnecting and protecting results
Send “unbind” in WeChat or disconnect from the binding page. TXT links are private for 15 minutes and stop working immediately after unbinding. Unfollowing clears identity-scoped binding and pending state.
Start in WeChat
Open the capability page to scan the QR code. If you already received a binding code, continue directly to account binding.
FAQ
Can I forward any native video share card?
Not reliably. The supported input is a public link or full share text containing the link. Apps and WeChat versions may represent native cards differently.
What if the binding code expired or was already used?
Send the original public link to the official account again to generate a new one-time code. Do not reuse a code that has already completed a connection.
Why is the result not ready immediately after binding?
Binding queues the first link, but transcription still runs asynchronously. Return to WeChat and send “status” to check progress.
What if I do not have enough transcription minutes?
Sign in to Videosays, add minutes, and send the link again. A link rejected for insufficient credit does not create a paid task automatically.
Will WeChat notify me automatically?
The first version uses the reliable pull workflow available without advanced account permissions. Send “status” to retrieve progress and completed links.
Do previous TXT links work after unbinding?
No. Unbinding immediately invalidates private WeChat download links. Your signed-in Videosays account still retains its own task history.
